the shop: Arne Jacobsen Ant chairs

Originally designed in 1950 for Danish health care company Novo Nordisk, the three legged 'Ant' chair was furniture architect Arne Jacobsen's international break-through design. Four of these iconic chairs, all early production models made by Fritz Hansen, will be exclusively available through the antikmodern pop-up shop from 18 January. Other standout pieces coming up this month include a pair of reupholstered walnut boomerang lounge chairs, a set of Hans Wegner AT40 nesting tables, a beautifully made oak console designed by Borge Mogensen for Soborg Mobler, some neat Danish magazine/ side tables and a great selection mid century ceramics.
