| By no means a cinematic masterpiece but definitely the sort of film which stays with you long after you've finished watching it. The Virgin Suicides was Sofia Coppola's directorial debut in 1999; it's beautifully shot, has a great storyline, fine performances from the key characters and includes the added bonus of some classic 70's styling accompanied by a slightly offbeat and nostalgic soundtrack |
