Jacob Jensen created more than 500 industrial products for various companies throughout the world but is perhaps best known for his association with Danish audio specialist Bang & Olufsen. Jensen was their Chief Designer from 1965 to 1991 and during this time created an extensive line of innovative and internationally recognised audio products. New York's MOMA has seven of Jensen's B&O designs in their permanent collection - the pieces are cited as striking examples of the museums criteria for quality, historical importance and influential designs of the twentieth century All photos via Beophile |
