I recently picked up this book via Amazon Japan following a recommendation from Ryan Willms at Inventory. Although written almost entirely in Japanese the publication has loads of great photos, especially from Margaret Howell's 1960's holiday home on the Suffolk coast. The interior shots are a good source of inspiration for room layouts, and the natural way in which Howell is so often able to make the simplest and most understated pieces look really quite beautiful in the right setting is always impressive
