Coming to antikmodern this month; the Krysset (or Kryss) chair is one of the most sought after Scandinavian furniture designs from the mid 20th century. Designed in 1955 by legendary Norwegian architect Fredrik Kayser for Rastad & Relling and produced by Gustav Bahus the chair is is noted for its instantly recognisable 'cross' shaped teak frame and unique leather hide back support. A replacement seat pad and new upholstery are currently in the making and the chair should be added to the shop inventory in the next week or so. Lots of other great stuff on the way for January too, including; a pair of Poul Volther lounge chairs; a beautifully made extending 'Captains Bar' made by Dyrlund; a set of sculptural Danish paper cord dining chairs; and a range of 'Krenit' bowls by Herbert Krenchel.
